Unlike offense, there's nothing straightforward about defense at all. With the objective being the protection of the Titan Relic for the full forty minutes, staying holed up inside Wintergrasp Fortress is a recipe for disaster. While there are thick walls and long range cannons, it's not going to be enough to push back a concentrated offense. Here, the old adage of the best defense is a good offense applies perfectly. In fact, it is the most effective way to win on Defense. As usual, organization is key. But if you're ungrouped, it's good to know what you must do, anyway. Before the battle, players will be porting to the front of Wintergrasp Keep. If you check the map above, you'll see that most Horde offense will be coming from the West and most of the Alliance offense will be coming from the East, so adjust accordingly. It's always good to send out a regiment to either workshop to prevent the offense from taking control of it. Man your turrets. Turrets are the most powerful weapons at your disposal because of their wzxcnmlgb extremely long range and high damage. Defense with fully-manned turrets will make short work of siege vehicles even before they get to Wintergrasp Fortress, or at least soften them up significantly for players on foot to destroy. Conversely, players must protect their turrets. Kill the ranged DPS first and let the turrets handle the vehicles. A turret firing at a vehicle will kill a vehicle before the vehicle kills the turret every time. The difference-maker are the personnel. Understand that only siege vehicles may damage the Fortress walls. If offense has no access to siege vehicles, the game is done, and it's just a matter of winding down the clock. Putting offense on the defensive will disrupt their efforts and buy you time. The ideal result is to stymie their vehicle production completely, but slowing them up enough to delay their Fortress penetration should be worth the effort. While it will extremely difficult to stop a coordinated assault, particularly a group on Ventrilo, effort must be made to disrupt them. A coordinated offense can win the game in less than ten minutes, unlocking the currently buggy Within Our Grasp Achievement. The only way to stop them is to block off their vehicle supply at the source, initally the West or East. This where numbers come into play. If they have more, they will simply wrest control.

Class balance is always a touchy subject, which depend on the class a player plays. In order to get to know well, we put together an impressive look a class balance in World of Warcraft. So perhaps the developers decide to add a "chink armor" bonus or something like that the Rogues can sneak their blade past the Warriors thick plate armor. In PvE game-play, Warrior isn't a big deal but in PvP combat, it's making them useless against all the Rogues sneaking around the battlefield. If you have too many classes, you most have other classes similar to Rogues, such as mercenary or brigand, who specializes in melee damage dealing with low defense. So now the mercenaries come out and start complaining that Rogues are doing the same damage as them, but Rogues get sneaking and hide abilities that the mercenaries do not. They are justified in saying that since they do not get the special abilities of the Rogue, that they should have a damage bonus at least.

Warhammer was just coming out at the time and I hopped over for a couple of months. But eventually, the call of Warcraft started to seep into my being and as the launch of the new expansion neared, I found I couldn't resist the urge to finally play a new class in WoW, the Death Knight. This led to toon hopping and many, many alts. Which ultimately led to boredom because of all the incessant leveling and grinding I had to do. I state this mainly because I really want you to understand that my opinion of the new Death Knight class is a meaningful one, since I have played them all extensively. With that said, I will go on to explain why the Death Knight really is a hero class. To begin, all Death Knights start in an instanced area, one that other characters(classes) can't get to and one that once the death knight has completed it, can never return to. You start your journey beside the Lich King (yes the Lich King!) He whispers sweet nothings in your ears and you are his slave - there to do nothing but his bidding. You spend most of this time gearing up your newly born death knight, earning talent points, and getting your stallion. This is all done within a series of quests leading up to the betrayal of the Lich King. He basically sends you on a death mission which is uncovered by Tirion Fordring. Fordring then assaults the Lich King with none other than Ashbringer and the Lich retreats to Northrend. This sets the stage for the basis of the Wrath of the Lich King and explains why the death knights no longer serve the evil king. There is also a fourth rune - the death rune - which can act as any of the 3 aforementioned runes. Most of their skills require a specific rune to be used. Other skills require runic power. Runic power builds up when you use skills that require a rune. Some build more than others but the basic skill will build about 10 runic power. Below is a display of your character's portrait and where you can keep track of your runes cool down and availability.

If you've taken 51 points in the Beast Mastery tree and gotten exotic pets, there is no reason you would want a normal pet for a raid. The talent itself further boosts exotic pet DPS by 10%. Even among the exotic pets there is a king for raid DPS, and that is the Devilsaur. The other two Ferocity pets just don't match up. Again, just like with the above mentioned wolves, exotic pets provide a number of extra abilities that in certain situations can be useful. Raid buffs such as lowering the targets armor. Of course because of the new buff system in place with WotLK, these abilities will probably not be needed in a 25 man environment, but for a 10 man raid it's possible that they provide a needed boost. A Worm's secondary ability is Acid Spit, which besides dealing a good amount of damage (124-176 every 10 seconds) also applies an armor debuff identical to Sunder Armor. With the introduction of DKs into the tanking scene, as well as feral druids and protection paladins already there, on any boss fight where a warrior is not tanking, the Worm can provide the same Sunder Armor effect while allowing any warriors in the raid to just DPS. Depending on your guild's raid composition, a BM hunter may be asked to specifically bring this pet.

In the World of Warcraft, the furbolgs are a race of bear-men who traditionally shared the forests of eternal night with the elves. The simple and peaceful bear-men lived in harmony with the forests for generations. They were great friends and allies of the night elves, providing their Sentinels with information about the comings and goings of the forests, and warning them of potential danger. However, the furbolgs close connection with the forests was exploited by the Burning Legion during the Third War. As the forests were corrupted many furbolg tribes became tainted with evil or went completely mad, and began attacking their former allies and destroying the lands they once protected. Their aged and wizened leaders were replaced by ruthless firebrands who lead the crazed furbolgs to prey upon the denizens of Ashenvale Forest. Currently, many of these renegade furbolg tribes remain on the loose, and are considered a grave threat to nearby settlements. Those few furbolg tribes who do remain uncorrupted have become withdrawn and suspicious, fearing that any outsider may bring corruption and madness to them as well. The Winterfall e'ko provides a Str buff that gives 30 Str for 30 minutes. It’s better than a giant’s pot and allows you to use gromsblood for flasks).Alliance gets to dress up like a furbolg.
