The build you want to use will probably be different from a final build if you are just starting out as a Hunter, because the types of enemies you fight will become different around level 50 and up. The main stats for you are Agility , Dex , and Power.You actually get a pretty nice strength bonus from Dexterity, so until you re-stat somewhere later down the line.

It is not fully reliant on just attack speed or just on archery skills, so we are recommend a 'hybrid' build. In Hunter's Instincts, the skills to go for are Aim, Weak Spotter, and Ready for Action. Those are all page-2, so on page 1, just get the pre-requisites up to the minimum necessary to get the page-2s. They will be good buffs to keep on to add strength to your normal attacks.

You won't have enough "play" in your build for a while to be full skill-spam in Archery skills, so it's best to take just some strong skills that you can fire off while your Hunter Instincts buffs are on cooldown. Generally, We like Additive Arrow, Strongbow, Arrow Alchemy ,Two Birds, and One Stone.

Especially in the earlier stages of the game soloing hunter is kind of difficult. Their defense is pretty bad, and the only real defensive capacity they have is the evasion that Agility gives them. You're much better off getting a party of 2 or 3 together and going off leveling(domo gold) that way. Or at least, being with someone who can heal your HP. Killing power will not be your problem. It will be surviving power.
