Federer too strong for Novak

Swiss tennis star Roger Federer has won the Cincinnati Open after beating Novak Djokovic 6-1 7-5 in the final.

The opening set was marked by total domination from Federer, who put on an almost flawless performance with very few unforced errors. The Swiss cruised to win the first set 6-1.
Djokovic came out of the blocks stronger and wiser in the second set, and instantly made his mark with three consecutive games – 3-0. However, the Serb made a number of unforced errors and allowed Federer to return to the set – 3-3.
Both players held their serves in the following games, with Novak having the first set-point at 5-4, which he failed to capitalize on and Federer snatched his own opportunity to level the score at 5-5. The following game was the turning point, as it saw plenty of deuces and lengthy rallies. Federer came out on top, broke the Serb and then made it easy when he clinched the match at his own serve.
