27.07.10 Bojana reaches HollywoodBojana Barovic, a Serbian model and former member of girls band Models and currently living in Los Angeles, has landed a role in popular US TV show How To Make It in America, showed on HBO. Bojana has also attracted further attention due to her private life, having been two years in a relationship with Pau Gasol, a Spanish basketball player who appears for LA Lakers. It was also hinted Bojana was once dating Marko Miskovic, son of Serbian business tycoon Miroslav Miskovic.
Main characters in the show are Ben Epstein (portrayed by Bryan Greenberg) and Cameron Calderon (Victor Rasuk) - two best mates who are trying to get rich overnight. After their attempted business of selling skateboards Ben designs falls through, the two turn to other ventures attempting to catch a bit of their American dream. Their first idea is to pose as denim trousers salesmen and borrow money from David, Ben's college friend, whose girlfriend Natalia is played by Bojana Barovic. How To Make It in America is having its second season in the US, while other roles went to Luis Guzman, Lake Bell - who appeared in Boston Legal - Eddie Thomas and Kid Cudi. The show is directed by Julian Farino, husband of Serbian actress Branka Katic, while executive producers are Farino and Mark Wahlberg. - "I enjoyed the singing and gigs in discos, giving autographs and taking pictures with our fans. The only downside of the music showbiz is low earnings which cannot meet my demands," explained Bojana, who recently moved from New York to LA. - "Life is very expensive in America. I spend a lot every month on travelling and renting places - a couple thousands of dollars. Still, I'm happy I can do the job where during one event I can earn enough money to live six months," said Barovic, who recently did events for Gillette and Blackberry.
